What is the best way to layer my products?

Meg recommends layering products from lightest to heavier, regardless of what you’re currently using. Cleansers and toners come first, followed by serums, and then heavier creams. This is the most efficient way to get the most out of your merchandise!

Morning Skincare Routine for Hormonal Acne

PCA is Meg’s favorite skincare line, and it’s also the one I use the most. We’ll go over the products listed above as well as some more affordable alternatives. Remember, you’ll only be taking this during that period of the month when you’re experiencing hormonal acne, so these items will pay for themselves over time!!

The first step is to use a cleanser.

For oily/problem skin, Meg recommends THIS facial wash.

It can be found HERE. At checkout, enter the code CRISP20 for a 20% discount and free shipping.

While higher-end cleansers may feel better on your skin, Meg says your cleanser is one place where you can save money by using a drugstore alternative. You should look for a product that contains salicylic acid if you have hormonal acne.

She advises CereVe from the drugstore as a low-cost solution. It can be found HERE and HERE.

She advises against using these cleansers on a regular basis because they can be drying and stripping to your skin. They are, nevertheless, beneficial in treating monthly hormonal acne.

Toner is the second step.

This PCA smoothing toner is Meg’s fave.

When you use the code CRISP20 at checkout, you’ll get 20% off and free shipping.

If you’re looking for a more affordable choice that still contains salicylic acid, go no further…

Advanced Vitamin C and E

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that can assist with skin discolouration, fine lines, and wrinkles. Meg believes that in order to see the benefits of this product, you must invest the money to buy from a high-quality company. This stuff burns a little at first, but that means it’s working, and I’ve noticed a huge difference since applying it every day!

While this is crucial, Meg recommends skipping this step until your breakouts have cleared up.

This is the one I use from PCA.

You can get it for 20% off with free shipping HERE if you use the coupon CRISP20.

Acne Gel

Clears and prevents blemishes with this gel. Apply a thin layer of foundation to your entire face.

With the coupon CRISP20, you can get it for 20% off and get free shipping.

Acne Cream

This is a spot treatment for acne that has already developed. It’s available HERE with a 20% discount and FREE shipping if you use the code CRISP20.

Use an SPF moisturizer.

SPF is an absolute must! The sun ages our skin more quickly than any other factor! It’s critical that your morning moisturizer contains sunscreen.
