And because of this one simple shift in her eating, she shed pounds and inches from her body without starving herself and without a lick of exercise!

With the same “carb-pairing” trick Carly dropped a total of 37lbs in the FIRST month and she shocked her doctor by completely reversing ALL pre-diabetes symptoms!

Skincare company The Ordinary doesn’t emphasize flashy packaging. The Ordinary skincare regimen for oily skin is incredibly reasonable,

and Sephora carries all the necessary supplies, the ordinary skincare routine for oily skin.

You should check out these incredible The Ordinary products for your ideal greasy skincare routine if you have oily, acne-prone skin.

The products I mention from The Ordinary are all quite reasonably priced—each is under $10—so this regimen is also very cost-effective.

If you already have these products in your bathroom at home, you only need to add a few skincare serums to your routine,

if you follow my guidance and have oily skin. I also provide you options that The Ordinary doesn’t carry.

The reasons The Ordinary is a reputable skincare line

The packaging of The Ordinary is “no-frills,”

which causes the cosmetic industry to frequently miss it.

Many people are drawn to skincare products due to their elegant packaging

and the belief that their oily skin will benefit from them.

For actual consumers with oily skin and other skin problems, The Ordinary produces real goods.

The Ordinary skincare line focuses on real ingredients at a lower cost,

so you can almost always find a dupe for a more costly skin care product there.

Because there are fewer fillers in the products, it’s also a fantastic brand for pre-teens or

people who are just beginning out with skincare.

I’ll outline the finest solutions for oily, acne-prone skin, but keep in mind that this is all my opinion and up to debate.

You don’t have to use only items from The Ordinary; you can also add additional skincare products to the mix.

Morning skincare routine for oily skin with The Ordinary

Your oily and acne-prone skin will benefit from a morning skincare routine with The Ordinary if you follow a few simple steps.

I’ll provide you with alternative options for this oily skin care regimen if there isn’t a product from The Ordinary that I would suggest.

Cleanse your skin in Step 1

The Ordinary doesn’t currently provide a cleanser, so I’ll give you another suggestion instead.

Use a gel foamy cleanser with a mild PH balance if your skin is greasy. Even if you have oily skin,

it is vital that the cleanser you use doesn’t remove all of the oils from your skin.

Some of my favorite gel cleaners are listed below:

Step 2: Solution of Niacinamide 10% and Zinc 1%

The Ordinary is renowned for its serums, which may compete with those of high-end skincare companies.

Niacinamide is an excellent source of vitamin B3, which assists with skin cell renewal and skin lightening.

Shop for The Ordinary at Sephora. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

In order to reinforce the skin’s natural barrier and avoid fine lines and wrinkles, niacinamide also uses B3 vitamins.

Additionally, it makes pores smaller, which helps control the excess oil-induced sebum and reduces acne.

Your skin will become more matte thanks to the 1% zinc content, which will enable it to manage shine and oil production all day.

After cleaning the skin, add 2 drops of this serum on the face.

To help your skin absorb the serum, make sure it’s still wet.

CAUTION: Avoid applying niacinamide at the same time as a vitamin C serum.

3. Apply a moisturizer

Even if I plan to use sunscreen later, I always moisturize after using a serum.

I’ll suggest some alternative moisturizers here because I don’t like The Ordinary’s product.

In order to keep your skin moisturized throughout the day, you should use a moisturizer that is water-based.

I suggest the following moisturizers for oily, acne-prone skin:

facial moisturizing lotion from CeraVe

Effaclar Mat by LaRoche Posay (Specifically formulated for oily skin)

The Water Cream Tatcha (pore minifying moisturizer)

Moisturizing Lotion by Cetaphil

4. Apply sunscreen

No skincare regimen is complete without sunscreen. Sunscreen should always be a component of your skincare routine,

regardless of whether you have oily or dry skin.

The Ordinary Mineral UV Filters SPF 30 Sunscreen, which contains antioxidants, is the brand’s own sunscreen (Shop on Amazon).

It can leave a white cast on your complexion, in my opinion, because it comes out white. Additionally, I think the SPF of 30 is too low; I like 50+.

I love Anthelios by La Roche Posay since it has an SPF of 50+, applies clear, and keeps your skin’s radiance.

Oily Skin’s Nighttime Skincare Routine with The Ordinary

With this skincare regimen, you will be applying more serums and oils at night.

This is due to the fact that during night, the products will have more time to absorb and deliver their effects deeper into the skin.

Start your nightly skincare routine an hour before you typically go to bed if you have trouble following it.

Don’t forget to complete your nighttime skincare routine every night because skipping it

increases your risk of developing breakouts if you have oily or acne-prone skin.

Squalane Cleanser in Step 1

Double cleansing is part of this oily skin care regimen. I enjoy double cleansing because it forces you to

first clean your face by removing the dirt and oil from it.

Double cleansing essentially implies just that.

The Ordinary Squalane cleanser is ideal for cleansing the skin of grime and makeup.

It only has to be warmed for around 30 seconds between your palms to warm the item.

This is a step in the double cleansing process that removes dirt before scrubbing the skin.

For use in the typical oily skincare routine, use a squalane cleanser.

Shop now at Sephora for the squalane cleanser.

NOTE: Do not wet your skin before beginning the first stage of your nighttime routine because you will be applying this to your DRY skin.

What are Squalane’s advantages?

Squalane has the advantage of imitating your skin’s natural oils. Additionally,

it serves as a shield of antioxidants from external carcinogens.

Older skin needs an extra boost of moisture from external sources because most of our natural moisture is produced when we are teenagers.

Step 2: Skin cleansing

Make use of the cleanser you would have used in the morning. The Squalane helped you remove your makeup,

and now you’re actually washing your skin to get rid of debris and oil that have accumulated in your pores.

Step 3: Use the Salicylic Acid 2 Percent Solution to exfoliate

(ONLY THREE TIMES A WEEK).

Although I like to exfoliate, I take care not to overdo it and I don’t do it every night.

Only exfoliate three times every week, otherwise, you’ll irritate your skin and get acne.

Salicylic Acid is probably something you’ve tried or heard of if you have acne-prone skin.

Salicylic acid from the ordinary, which has a 2 percent concentration, will be strong yet pure.

Use salicylic acid to prevent oil congestion if you want to keep your pores free.

As soon as your skin has dried from the double cleansing, all you have to do is apply 2 drops of the solution.

If you break out on different days of the week, you can also use this as a spot therapy.

Salicylic acid, lactic acid

Lactic acid, another exfoliant offered by The Ordinary, works similarly to salicylic acid in assisting with oil reduction.

An alpha hydroxy acid called lactic acid contributes to a smoother complexion.

Shop for The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10 percent Plus HA at Sephora right away.

Lactic acid is a better choice if you have dull skin (who doesn’t?) and whiteheads.

The Ordinary offers products at two different price points: 5 percent and 10 percent.

Going with the 5 percent level can assist your skin get acclimated to the product if you are just starting off with a nighttime skincare routine.

You might be asking what distinguishes lactic acid from salicylic acid.

Read the box below for information on how the two serums differ specifically from one another.

What distinguishes salicylic acid from lactic acid?

Salicylic acid is different from lactic acid in that it is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid), which allows it to infiltrate the pores more deeply.

Because lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid, it dissolves surface-layer dead skin cells, which is excellent for treating acne.

Here are three thorough recommendations for using lactic acid safely:

Salicylic Acid and Lactic Acid should not be used together since they can irritate your skin.

Salicylic acid shouldn’t be used with Niacinamide serums (you can do so in the morning but not in the same application for example at night).

Use of lactic acid with vitamin C at the same time is not advised.

If you plan to use an acid, don’t forget to use sunscreen every day; failing to do so could result in severe sun damage.

step five: Marine Hyaluronic

Use The Ordinary’s Marine Hyaluronic after cleansing your skin on days when you don’t exfoliate.

Apply them after your exfoliating acid if you choose to exfoliate.

Shop for The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronic at Sephora right away.

If you’re not sure what a Marine Hyaluronic is, it’s a type of moisturizing serum made of components

that can be found in plant-based materials like marine bacteria and algae.

If your nighttime ritual feels overwhelming to you, you don’t need to use the Marine Hyaluronic,

although it is useful in the winter for an extra boost of hydration.

Sixth step: moisturize

It’s crucial to make sure our skin is naturally hydrated before going to bed. Our skin is properly hydrated with the necessary amino acids, glycerin,

and hyaluronic thanks to some excellent moisturizers from The Ordinary.

Since this is a nighttime routine, you can also use any other regular moisturizer you have, with or without SPF.

Let’s review the Ordinary Skincare for Oily Skin routine before you leave.
