When it comes to alternative energy sources, solar power is one of the first things people think about it. Although it is more expensive and complicated compared to other alternative energy sources (wind energy, hydro energy, nuclear energy), it is also by far the safest and one that requires the least amount of maintenance.
USA is currently the world leader in terms of solar energy use and production, but other countries, especially those in Asia, are quickly beginning to catch up. With the rapid development of solar power and energy transmission technologies around the world, it wouldn’t come as a surprise that by 2050 most countries with temperate climates will be able to power a significant amount of factories and households entirely on energy from the Sun.
