Yo! Clear Mind is all that you need.

When we talk about writing it all starts from our head. You can’t go far when you don’t know where you’re aiming to go. I had to sit down and clear things out in my mind first in order to know why i’m doing somethings wrong.

I totally recommend you to also do the same thing. Clear your mind on your goals concerning your blog, it’s a great ways to start this journey to a productive blogging life!

Find Best time to write & stick to it. No Joke!

I need to say something here, i am not a morning person and i am working on that. In the meanwhile i do need to find the best time to write my blog posts so i schedule them towards the evenings and nights.

You have to know yourself and which hour of the day makes you more active.

You can’t write a blog posts half way asleep.. it won’t work or at least you’ll miss something for sure!

Find the best hours and share your post writing on those hours!

Put away distractions.. They will slow you down.

This my smartphone right? Well we all have one (if you don’t well it’s all good!) and you will agree with me that it can totally take your mind off what you’ve planned to do.

Visualize it like this…. You sit on your laptop all pumped up to write the best blog posts ever, only to hear a notification from Instgram… the story ends there because you know that once you open the app you’re gonna get stuck!

put away distractions!

Listen to meditating music while writing.. Keeps you focused!

Music can be such a distraction but at the same time we can’t live without it!

Why not use music to your advantage?

How To Start A Blog With The Right Mindset

When it comes to learning how to start a blog with the right mindset I think that there are 3 factors ...

What i do is i take my headphones and go over to YouTube and search for any meditating, focus music that has no type of words or distractions.

It helps me focus better on my content and get  things done much easier.

Batch all your creative work before hand (thumbnails and Pinterest images)

This has been a game changer for me, batching all my visuals beforehand.

It used to take me forever to complete them and i usually designed them using canva after i’ve written my posts.

Mind you i like writing late at night so at times i didn’t feel like going the extra mile… (i was sleepy hehe!).

Taking a day off to work on all my visuals for my weekly posts really helped me focus on my writing rather than worrying on what i will design next.

Break your post into headings, Helps you write faster and better!

A life saver tip right there! If you’ve read my post on 12 Reasons no One Reads your Blog & how to Change it imentioned how your headings may drive a reader in or out of your post!

I personally love headings and believe they place a big role in every blog posts therefore i suggest you keep your headings to the point and yet make it engaging so it will turn their curiosity to read the content bellow it.

Specify how many words will you write and try to pass it for SEO purposes!

I always wanted to write more content, i don’t know if you’ve ever wondered how this big bloggers does it.

But for some reason google likes posts that have a work count over 1.000 words! So i’ve planned ahead of time that all my posts will always go over 1.000 words.

Was it always like this in my case?

Not at all, in the beginning of this blog’s life i didn’t even know what to blog about!

Once you’ve got the right niche for you and you know the topics that’s surrounding that niche your posts will be more targeted and you’ll find yourself with more to write (sometimes it might take a longer time to complete a posts due to research that has to be done.).

Be diligent with your plan and it will.

It’s easy to create this plan and do it the first few days, i’ve done that a ton of times! But one thing i’ve notice is that diligence will help you continue. My advice for you is to not slack in what you’ve planned out for the week and do your best to achieve them.

Let’s Conclude our little chat:

Without determination nothing is done. When you see that your productivity is not in the level it suppose to be you need to work your way out. Follow my steps by having a clear mind when it comes to what you’re trying to achieve and why it’s not working.

Find Best time to write & stick to it because you’re also human and time is precious. Put away distractions in order to focus while listening to soothing music!

Batching will become your best friend and creating headings in your blog posts will help you work faster and write more words which will help with seo.

Finally Diligence will take you to places you never expected!
